Forgotten Treasure

Essence It's Two Bright + Etos Effect Nails 008
A couple of days ago I was cleaning out my closet and found a box with old nail polishes. A bunch of sheer pinks and thickened frosts, but also this impressive little glitter polish (Effect Nails #008) from Etos (Dutch drugstore). The sheer blue base is filled with small and medium-sized prismatic hexes. SO pretty. For this mani I layered one coat over two coats of the blue side of Essence's Colour³ nail polish called It's Two Bright. I had a hard time capturing the glittery awesomesauce on the nail, but the bottle shot does show how beautiful the glitter looks in real life!

(Almost) Naked Nails

Although I like to wear all kinda crazy colours on my nails, I have to admit: sometimes I like to have my nails (almost) naked. Fresh and simple.. Today is one of those days. I did use a Nail Whitener from Etos (a Dutch drugstore brand), because my nails are a bit stained and it gives a shine. It's an old bottle, but it works like a charm!

Don't be afraid, tomorrow I'll dive into my evergrowing pile of nail polishes and look for some crazy polish to wear and show you.. :O

Great Brush Shape

A couple of days ago I opened my new nail hardener from Etos (a Dutch drugstore brand) and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the shape of the brush (pictured on the left)! :e It's rounded! The other brush pictured belongs to Nail Tek Foundation II, look at the difference between them!

Why haven't I seen this brush shape in other nail polishes yet? The rounded shape of the brush makes it so easy to apply nail polish! A perfect result without a clean-up, how great is that?

Or is it just me with my rounded cuticles? ;) If you know more brands with this kind of brush, please share!
