Essie - School of Hard Rocks & CND Effects - Crimson Sparkle

The two nail polishes I used here were part of my last Transdesign order and I just couldn't wait to wear them. I'm not sure if this is the best combination, but I do know both polishes are a-ma-zing. Essie - School of Hard Rocks is a dusty greenish teal creme. A difficult colour to photograph, so it's obviously the perfect choice to wear when you're learning to work with a new camera. :|| SoHR looks more greyed out/dustier in real life, it's a beautiful shade that appeals to me a lot! Formula was great, I applied two coats. Then I added one coat of Crimson Sparkle from the CND Effects range. I'm telling you nothing new, but the Effects polishes from CND really are the bomb!

Tinsel & Sparkle

After I removed my last mani I decided to go for China Glaze's Tinsel Town on all nails. Just what I expected (and needed): awesomesauce! I see two types of silver glitter in a sheer, dark grey base. This is not just a silver glitter polish, the dark base makes it look really cool and unique. The formula is nice, this is how Tinsel Town looks after two easy coats. The finish is a bit rough, even after applying top coat, but not too gritty for me. The only downside is the wear time; I discovered some chips after a day of wear. But hey, does it even matter if you're thát pretty? ;)
Just when I thought it couldn't get better I decided to use Sapphire Sparkle from CND. An extra coat of sparkle? Yes please. ♥

Zoya - Caitlin & CND - Sapphire Sparkle

Today is a beautiful day to be outside so I'll be short. I'm wearing Caitlin from Zoya, this is what Zoya says about Caitlin:

Smoky purple-tinged medium gray with smooth, opaque creme finish. Sultry, mysterious and impossibly chic, a shade that will have everyone intrigued.

I have nothing to add to that! It's a beauty. The application was fine, the formula was a little on the thick side, but nothing I can't handle. After a day of wear I wanted to add a little something something, so I applied two coats of CND - Sapphire Sparkle. So pretty, I love it!

CND - Sapphire Sparkle

Yesterday I showed you Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans! from Catrice. Today I decided to add one of those fabulous CND Effects, Sapphire Sparkle. Well, it sparkles! I love it... The difference you see in the pictures is due to the lighting; the top pic was taken with direct light, the bottom one with diffuse light, look at those sparklies!! :L

CND - Amethyst Sparkle

I thought it would be fun to use a CND Effects polish. My first time using one! I applied one layer of Amethyst Sparkle on top of Yasmeen from Zoya. Not that I thought Yasmeen wasn't nice on its own by the way :O

Amethyst Sparkle adds a lot of purple and pink sparkles to the manicure, gorgeous! It's a great way of bringing your manicure alive again and giving it a little extra oomph. I like it!
