For this mani I used two stunning prismatic nail polishes from Cirque. These two colors combine really well! I started with applying two coats of Boudoir, a reddish purple, on my pinky and index fingernail and Vesuvius, a warm pink, on my ring and middle fingernail. I used a makeup sponge to create a gradient effect on the middle nails. I love this effect! The only thing is that it's a shame the lineair prismatic effect lost its strength by sponging it on (vertically). But I can't get over how gorgeous both nail polishes are! :L

Nails! Nice & Neutral
*blows dust from blog*
I can't believe it's been a year since I posted my last nail pictures... I'm not one for long explanations, but how about some new nail pics? I decided to go for something nice and neutral. Two coats of OPI - Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, stamped with a england - Her Rose Adagio. I wore Her Rose Adagio a couple of times and loved it. As you can see it's also amazing for stamping! The stamped design is from plate BM-406, one of the plates from the Bundle Monster 2013 'Create Your Own' stamping set. This organic design is one of my favourites from this set.
Thanks for watching!

a england - Briarwood
Oh, so pretty! I'm wearing Briarwood from a england for over a week now and apart from tip wear it's still looking great. It happens so often that Adina's creations leave me speechless... It's a perfect colour for fall, I can see myself wearing Briarwood a lot. This is two coats plus top coat.
I don't know if you noticed, but I decided to go for a more rounded nail shape. I wore my nails in a square shape for years and I wanted to try something else. It feels nice, I like it!
Thanks for watching! :h

Fascinating Flowers
I really, really enjoyed wearing this! I started with applying a england - Elaine on all nails. For the flowers I used a purple prismatic beauty from Cirque called Fascination Street with a dot of China Glaze - 2030 in the middle. I also applied two coats of Fascination Street on the rest of my nails. This polish is so stunning, love it.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to post before my husband and I go on vacation. We'll leave next week and be back in October. We're going to Naples, the Amalfi Coast (hope to visit Ischia or Capri, too!) and the Gargano peninsula on the east coast of Italy. I'm so excited! :D

A Royal Gradient
For these gradient nails I used two a england nail polishes with a prismatic finish. The base colour is Princess Sabra and on the nail tips you can see Fated Prince. When I held the bottles next to each other I thought they would look great together on the nail and yes, they do!
Both polishes are available on the a england website. Check the 'where to buy'-page for additional information.
Hope you like it, thanks for watching! ^_^

a england - Sleeping Palace
I'm sure this smoky purple nail polish with prismatic sparkles is a treat for your eyes! I'm wearing one of a england's newest shades, Sleeping Palace. Sleeping Palace was super easy to apply with perfect coverage in two coats. It's a pigmented shade, so I used it for stamping on a couple of accent nails (base colour is a england - Guinevere). I'm obsessed with this design from Bundle Monster plate BM-313.. I have the feeling this is not the last time you're seeing it on my nails!
Sleeping Palace reminded me of Misty Blush from Layla Cosmetics. They're definitely not dupes, although the base colour is quite similar. The prismatic effect of Misty Blush is much stronger.
Thanks for watching! :)

a england - Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty)
A new collection from a england always makes my heart beat a little faster. Irresistible shades that apply like butter? Yes, please! I'm wearing Briar Rose at the moment, a cranberry coloured polish with an almost velvety look and a beautiful prismatic effect. I LOVE this polish! For me, Briar Rose's definitely backup material. The formula was a dream, I used two coats.
Briar Rose is part of the Burne-Jones Dream collection and available now. Please visit the a england website to find out where to get this and all other a england beauties.

Cirque - Cypress
Oh, can you believe how pretty this one is? The weather is nice and sunny here in the Netherlands so I'm enjoying the prismatic shades that where waiting to shine in sunlight. Today I'm showing you Cypress from Cirque. The formula of Cypress was on the thin side, but it applied nicely in three coats. My inspiration for the accent nail was Jane's taped circus nail art. The brown coloured base I used is Becca's Brown from Models Own. I also added a little round stud from Born Pretty Store.
This looks glorious in sunlight. ♥
Cypress is part of Cirque's Objet d'Art collection and is available on the Cirque website.
The stud comes in a wheel from Born Pretty Store, you can find it here.

Subtle Stamped Mint Green Nails
The base colour I'm wearing is That's What I Mint!, one of Essence's new Colour & Go shades. I needed two coats for lovely mint coloured nails. The stamped design is from Bundle Monster plate BM-313 and I used Koh - Platinum Silver as the stamping polish. This combination is almost invisible indoors, but looks fantastic in sunlight! I'm always amazed by how much effect a little bit of stamping can have.
Thanks for watching! :h

Cirque - Lonesome George
What better way to celebrate a sunny day than with a beautiful prismatic shade? I chose to wear Lonesome George from Cirque. Now, you may know that I have a weak spot for green prismatics, so it's no surprise that I think this one's extremely pretty! The formula was nice and smooth, I used two coats (no top coat).
I also want to show you a little comparison with the green prismatic nail polishes I own. No dupes here. If I háve to choose a favourite I'd go for Lonesome George because of the intense prismatic effect. Also, I like my prismatic sparkles a bit more scattered than smooth like you see in Reclaim.
Lonesome George is part of Cirque's Objet d'Art collection and is available on the Cirque website.

Cirque - Galinda
I updated Dorian Gray with Galinda from the brand Cirque. Galinda has a clear base with small and medium pearly white glitter and tiny sparkly prismatic particles. So lovely! The formula of Galinda was great, I applied two coats over Dorian Gray.
Later I added a layer of matte top coat, because well.. a mattified glitter mani never disappoints! My nails look kinda frosted. Cool. :)
Galinda is part of Cirque's newest collection called Objet d'Art and is available on the Cirque website.

Shimmer Polish - Karina
This gorgeous cherry red glitter polish is Karina from Shimmer Polish. This polish glows and sparkles like crazy, I'm drowning in its depth. ♥ The formula was a little thick, but manageable. I used two coats plus a generous amount of top coat.
Shimmer Polish is available at Cindy's Etsy shop for $12 a bottle.

Layla Hologram Effect - Misty Blush
Wowza, is that a rainbow explosion or what? ♥ In case you haven't heard: the prismatic polishes from Layla Cosmetics are the best! There is a great variety in base colours (16 shades) and the prismatic effect is just.. wow. I'm wearing two coats of Misty Blush over my beloved Aqua Base from Nfu Oh.

Flash Blacked Agra
The base colour I used for today's mani is Agra from Herôme. Agra is a dark greyish green coloured polish with a creme finish. Beautiful colour, it applies nicely in two coats. Now I finally got my hands on a couple of Layla Hologram Effect polishes, woohoo! Thanks for the tip, Meghan! ^_^ I was curious if these awesome prismatic polishes would work as stamping polishes. Well, they do. And it looks great! Everyone should try stamping with a prismatic polish some time, the effect is really mesmerizing. I used plate BM-205 and Layla - Flash Black to create the colourful pattern.

Pupa - Holographic Denim Blue
At the moment I have another gorgeous shade from Pupa's Holographic collection on my nails. This is Holographic Denim Blue, a medium blue polish with prismatic particles. The prismatic effect is not as intense as the effect of the other two I own from this collection, but it's still super gorgeous. A special base coat like Nfu Oh's Aqua Base really helps intensifying the prismatic effect. The formula was ok, I used two coats, no top coat.

Subtle Stamped Elaine
I'm wearing a new favourite, Elaine from a england. I love wearing dark purples and Elaine is just perfect. Nicely pigmented and easy to apply, I used two coats. I added some subtle stamping with Konad plate m83 and Color Club - Wild At Heart. I wasn't expecting it to be thís subtle, but I like it anyway. It looks amazing in sunlight! ♥
Thanks for watching and enjoy your weekend!

Blinding Nails
It looks like Summer finally started in The Netherlands, woohoo! I decided to celebrate by wearing this blinding layering. I used four coats of China Glaze - Flip Flop Fantasy (love the colour, hate the formula) and one coat of Hefesto, the prismatic top coat from Speciallità.
You should see this in person... :L

Fishing for Diamonds
For today's mani I used these blingy hex glitters from BornPrettyStore.com. They are absolutely stunning, I can stare at them all day! The nail polish I'm wearing is Kelly from Zoya. I stamped the fishnet pattern with Bundle Monster plate BM-310 and China Glaze - Millennium on some accent nails, then I added the hex glitter.
For only $2.38 you get a jar with a large amount of glitter (probably enough for a lifetime ^_^ ).

Cirque - Never Nude
This lovely nude coloured prismatic polish is Never Nude from Cirque. The prismatic effect is really strong, it's a wonderful shade to wear on a sunny day! The formula of Never Nude was good, I used two coats for an opaque result. On the ring finger nail I applied two coats of OPI - Did You 'ear About Van Gogh? and I made dots with Never Nude. The first picture is most colour accurate.
Never Nude is part of Cirque's Dark Horse collection. This handmade collection is available on the Cirque website and locally in New York at Annie's stand at Hester Street Fair. Prices range from $12 to $16 (13.2 ml).
