For this mani I used two stunning prismatic nail polishes from Cirque. These two colors combine really well! I started with applying two coats of Boudoir, a reddish purple, on my pinky and index fingernail and Vesuvius, a warm pink, on my ring and middle fingernail. I used a makeup sponge to create a gradient effect on the middle nails. I love this effect! The only thing is that it's a shame the lineair prismatic effect lost its strength by sponging it on (vertically). But I can't get over how gorgeous both nail polishes are! :L

Fascinating Flowers
I really, really enjoyed wearing this! I started with applying a england - Elaine on all nails. For the flowers I used a purple prismatic beauty from Cirque called Fascination Street with a dot of China Glaze - 2030 in the middle. I also applied two coats of Fascination Street on the rest of my nails. This polish is so stunning, love it.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to post before my husband and I go on vacation. We'll leave next week and be back in October. We're going to Naples, the Amalfi Coast (hope to visit Ischia or Capri, too!) and the Gargano peninsula on the east coast of Italy. I'm so excited! :D

Ruffian Manicure with Cirque - Hellebore
My first ruffian mani! The delicate green glitter polish you see is Cirque - Hellebore, another creation from Annie that blows my mind. ♥ I chose Parlez-vous OPI from OPI as the base colour because I think it matches well with the subtle purple sparkles in Hellebore. The formula of Hellebore was nice and thin, so it was easy to make these ruffian nails. I used two coats of both polishes.
Reminder: As you probably already know the end of Google Reader is near. Be sure to follow my blog on Bloglovin' to stay up to date with my posts. Thank you so much for following! :-)

Cirque - Cypress
Oh, can you believe how pretty this one is? The weather is nice and sunny here in the Netherlands so I'm enjoying the prismatic shades that where waiting to shine in sunlight. Today I'm showing you Cypress from Cirque. The formula of Cypress was on the thin side, but it applied nicely in three coats. My inspiration for the accent nail was Jane's taped circus nail art. The brown coloured base I used is Becca's Brown from Models Own. I also added a little round stud from Born Pretty Store.
This looks glorious in sunlight. ♥
Cypress is part of Cirque's Objet d'Art collection and is available on the Cirque website.
The stud comes in a wheel from Born Pretty Store, you can find it here.

Love Lapis
Today I'm showing you Lapis from Cirque. Blue, glittery and stun-ning! I'm so glad I have a blog where I can share epic nail polishes. Lapis is definitely epic. ♥ It was easy to apply, I'm wearing two coats (on most nails) over two coats of Gosh - Blue Balloon. I added the glittery and silver (China Glaze - Millennium) triangles by using striping tape. As the finishing touch I also added small square studs from Born Pretty Store. I'll be using those studs a lot, love them.
Lapis is part of Cirque's Objet d'Art collection and is available on the Cirque website.

Sparkly Tips with Cirque - Book of Shadows & Cirque - XX
For this mani I used two amazing nail polishes from Cirque's Objet d'Art collection. I spiced up a three day old mani (two coats of Catrice - I Sea You!) with a crazy amount of sparkle on the tips. I sponged with Book of Shadows (silver/lavender foil) and dabbed the glitter from XX on top of it. XX is really impressive, don't you think? I adore the pastel look of the glitter particles. ♥

Cirque - Lonesome George
What better way to celebrate a sunny day than with a beautiful prismatic shade? I chose to wear Lonesome George from Cirque. Now, you may know that I have a weak spot for green prismatics, so it's no surprise that I think this one's extremely pretty! The formula was nice and smooth, I used two coats (no top coat).
I also want to show you a little comparison with the green prismatic nail polishes I own. No dupes here. If I háve to choose a favourite I'd go for Lonesome George because of the intense prismatic effect. Also, I like my prismatic sparkles a bit more scattered than smooth like you see in Reclaim.
Lonesome George is part of Cirque's Objet d'Art collection and is available on the Cirque website.

Pastel Diagonal Gradient
Is it spring already? I'm sooo in the mood for pastel colours right now.. The base colour I'm wearing is Color Club - Secret Rendezvous (three coats). I wanted to combine this lilac beauty with another soft colour, so I used Eyeko - Vintage Polish to create a diagonal gradient. Lóve this combination! I made the flower accent with Konad plate m20 and Konad Special Nail Polish in White. I added a couple of dots with Cirque - Book of Shadows for a little bit of sparkle.

Cirque - Cape Liz
Phew, I'm glad I'm feeling well enough to blog again! I've had an awful throat infection and felt miserable the past week. Luckily I took some pictures of my polished nails before I got sick. This delicate, greyish blue shade is Cape Liz from Cirque. The shimmer in this one is really pretty! Cape Liz has a somewhat uneven consistency, I needed three coats for a satisfying result. I would love to wear this colour with silver stamping some time!
Cape Liz is part of Cirque's Objet d'Art collection and is available on the Cirque website.
Thanks for watching and enjoy your weekend! :)

Cirque - Galinda
I updated Dorian Gray with Galinda from the brand Cirque. Galinda has a clear base with small and medium pearly white glitter and tiny sparkly prismatic particles. So lovely! The formula of Galinda was great, I applied two coats over Dorian Gray.
Later I added a layer of matte top coat, because well.. a mattified glitter mani never disappoints! My nails look kinda frosted. Cool. :)
Galinda is part of Cirque's newest collection called Objet d'Art and is available on the Cirque website.

Green and Sparkly with Golden Leaves

Shawn Loves French Roast
Oh. Wow. How amazing are these glittery tips? For this mani I sponged French Roast from Cirque over Zoya - Shawn. French Roast is very obviously made of awesome, it's so sparkly and complex. ♥ This week is going to be busy so I don't have much time to do my nails, but looking at this I don't even wánt to change them.

Cirque - Dark Horse
For today's nails I used Dark Horse, a dark and mysterious nail polish from Cirque. At first I thought this polish had a black base with multi-coloured shimmer, but no.. Dark Horse's clear base is filled with small black glitter and rainbow sparkles. How amazing is that? I prefer layering glitter polishes over a non-glitter polish (makes the removal easier), so I used two coats of Dark Horse over China Glaze - Awaken. Dark Horse applies easily and dries gritty and kinda matte (second picture). You'll need at least two layers of top coat for a smooth and glossy finish. Normally I would go for smooth nails, but I'm surprised by how much I like this glittery polish without top coat!

Cirque - Never Nude
This lovely nude coloured prismatic polish is Never Nude from Cirque. The prismatic effect is really strong, it's a wonderful shade to wear on a sunny day! The formula of Never Nude was good, I used two coats for an opaque result. On the ring finger nail I applied two coats of OPI - Did You 'ear About Van Gogh? and I made dots with Never Nude. The first picture is most colour accurate.
Never Nude is part of Cirque's Dark Horse collection. This handmade collection is available on the Cirque website and locally in New York at Annie's stand at Hester Street Fair. Prices range from $12 to $16 (13.2 ml).

Cirque - Debris
Today I'm showing you a glitter polish from Cirque's Dark Horse collection. It's called Debris and it's awesome. Debris has a clear base with black and silver square and hex glitter and fine prismatic shimmer. I layered Debris over Zoya - Caitlin and I think they make a good pair! Caitlin doesn't look right in the first picture (too blue), but I wanted to show a glimpse of how pretty the prismatic shimmer looks in sunlight. ♥ The formula of Debris is nice, not too thick. The larger glitter parts tend to settle at the bottom, so I turned the bottle upside down before I started with my base colour. Worked like a charm, I had no trouble getting the larger ones out. This is one coat.

Sparkly Tips with Cirque - Ophelia
A smooth base and glittery tips.. this is my favourite way to wear glitter polishes, I love the contrast! For today's mani I applied two coats of Essence - Chuck (looks more blurple than blue in real life) and I sponged the tips with Ophelia from Cirque. Ophelia is such a lovely glitter polish, it has a clear base with periwinkle coloured hex glitter and pink and green shimmer. You'll need at least four coats if you want to wear it on its own so I recommend layering it over an opaque base. In the picture below you can see how one coat of Ophelia looks over a black and a blurple creme polish.
Ophelia is part of Cirque's Dark Horse collection. This handmade collection is available on the Cirque website and locally in New York at Annie's stand at Hester Street Fair. Prices range from $12 to $16 (13.2 ml).

Cirque - Epoch
Today I'm showing you Epoch from the brand Cirque. Epoch has a shimmery duochrome finish and shifts from dark teal to purple. It's a real stunner, I love it! Epoch was easy to apply and dried fast, I used three thin coats.
Epoch is part of Cirque's Dark Horse collection. This handmade collection is available on the Cirque website and locally in New York at Annie's stand at Hester Street Fair. Prices range from $12 to $16 (13.2 ml).

New Brand: CIRQUE
Recently Annie asked me if I wanted to review some of her nail polishes. She just released a collection of handmade nail polishes for her new label Cirque. I love trying out new brands, especially if everything looks so promising! The packaging was really cool - keep in mind this packaging is only for the press kits, but I just had to show you how pretty it is. What I like even more are the nail polishes, they look absolutely beautiful. The polishes you see on the plastic sticks are all part of Cirque's debut collection called Dark Horse. Two prismatic polishes, a duochrome, glitters, shimmers, glass flecks.. I love the variety. I can't wait to try them and show them to you!
